Beecher Jr. High School
Henry Bros. Co. built the new $11 million, 62,500 S.F. Beecher Junior High School which includes a two-story classroom wing. The school was built to accommodate future expansion for this rapidly growing south suburban community.
At the center of the school is a one-story facility that houses the administrative offices. The project also includes a gymnasium with locker rooms, as well as a cafeteria and kitchen. The district received a grant to help pay for the Domestic Water Solar Hot Water Collection System, which helps reduce fuel consumption costs.
HBCo previously worked with District 200-U in 2001, constructing an addition to, and remodeling of, Beecher Elementary and High Schools.
