On Wednesday, May 8, Henry Bros. Co. joined the ground blessing ceremony for Ancora, a new memory support residence being built on the Franciscan Communities Marian Village campus in Lemont, Illinois. Participating from Henry Bros. Co. were Superintendent Josh Peregrin, left, Project Manager Carl Hauert, VP of Operations Bob Nielsen, President William H. Callaghan, Jr., and VP of Project Development Tom O’Brien.
The one-story, 33,368 S.F. residence, designed by architect Perkins Eastman, will feature 38 rooms and a communal dining room, library, fitness center, lounge, and beauty salon. In addition to constructing Ancora, Henry Bros. Co. will renovate roughly 8,600 S.F. of the existing adjoining assisted living building. All work is slated for completion in spring 2025.
This assignment marks another opportunity for Henry Bros. Co. and Franciscan Ministries to collaborate and build on a successful relationship spanning over three decades.
