Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center

Henry Bros. Co. built the award-winning Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, a 72,000-S.F., $8.6 million complex that offers a wide variety of recreational activities. Features include three full-size basketball courts with locker rooms, a one-eighth-mile running track, an aerobics room, an arts and crafts room, pre-school classrooms, a teaching kitchen, a senior center, a teen center, a game room, an indoor playground [Jungle Village], a museum for its namesake, and an outdoor bandshell.  The facility also includes administrative offices.

Six months after the completion of the center, an adjoining $6.1 million aquatic park was completed by Henry Bros. Co.
