Reavis High School Renovations
Henry Bros. Co. completed a $6.6 million renovation to Reavis High School’s library, guidance office, kitchen, and cafeteria. The project included construction work in high student traffic areas, intricate schematics for complex tech systems, and improved aesthetics, functionality, efficiency, and flow of these essential areas.
Complete renovation of the library and second-floor classrooms featured interior glass partitions, mechanical systems, and finishes. A floor opening was created to accommodate a central staircase in the redesigned library.
The kitchen/cafeteria was updated with new mechanical systems, kitchen equipment and serving lines, and new finishes. The cafeteria was modified to an open floor plan with cloud ceilings for better acoustics.
Structurally, new steel was added for additional support to the second story, and all roofing systems were replaced.
