Park District of Forest Park Addition

This $2 million, 6,000 S.F. addition and remodeling project for the Park District of Forest Park presented a unique challenge for builders. They were tasked with matching the original vintage exterior stonework on the new, two-story addition.  Henry Bros. Co. was able to secure stonework with a strong likeness to the circa 1938 building creating a virtually seamless connection.

The addition includes office space, an elevator, a new main staircase, an entry lobby, and a new boardroom. Other improvements to the park district included the addition of two new men’s and women’s restrooms, air conditioning, exterior masonry, tuckpointing/repair, a new slate roof, and pavers for a 1,200-S.F. veranda.
